Moderator – Eric Hanson, VFX Designer, xRez Studio will present innovative methodology for the capture and creation of high resolution digital environments.

Panelists will include:

Todd Margolis, Technical Director of the Center for Research in Computing and the Arts (CRCA) at UCSD presenting his latest research of immersive and interactive artworks ranging from Virtual Reality to mobile Augmented Reality Alternate Reality Games.

Dr. Jacquelyn Ford Morie, Senior Scientist at the USC’s Institute for Creative Technologies presenting the latest developments in the creation of art within virtual worlds.

Mark Bolas, the Associate Director of Immersion at USC’s Institute for Creative Technologies presenting his latest research from MxR Lab and FlatWorld, an immersive virtual reality environment where users can walk and run freely among simulated rooms, buildings, and streets.
